Remit

  1. Assess event applications for IOF major events including timely proposals to Council on the appointment of organisers
  2. Participate in the IOF Fair Play Project
  3. Appoint a member to the Rules Commission
  4. Education of High-Level Event organisers and Senior Event Advisers
  5. Event Quality Index development and implementation for daily use
  6. Overall High-Level Event Quality Improvement Program development ideas
  7. Continue long term planning of the Event Programme. This includes a vision of where events should take place for competitive, political and development reasons
  8. Monitor the progress with The World Games
  9. Monitor future WOC events, the work of the organisers and the WOC SEAs
  10. Monitor future World Cup events, support the work of the World Cup Consortium, create the
  11. World Cup Special Rules
  12. Monitor future JWOC events, the work of the organisers and SEAs
  13. Monitor future WMOC events, the work of the organisers and SEAs
  14. Supervise events on site, give and gather input from stakeholders
  15. Monitor future Regional Senior & Youth Championships events, the work of the organisers and SEAs
  16. Monitor the FootO World Ranking System and propose changes when necessary
  17. Cooperate with the Athletes’ Commission and coaches on High Level Events
  18. Regularly ensure that the rules are evolving harmoniously with the development of FootO and its formats
  19. Ensure the selection, training and maintenance of a sufficient number of SEAs and jury members in FootO
  20. Organise an annual High Level Event Seminar
  21. Assist with / organise Event Advising Clinics
  22. Cooperate with IT Commission on Punching & Timing systems
  23. Cooperate with Map Commission on map specifications and the map control process
  24. Develop organiser’s manuals / guidelines for the specific events for which FOC has responsibility
  25. Actively develop competition formats for IOF major events. Monitor new event format developments and possibly recommend changes for Council approval
  26. Maintaining knowledge of sprint and forest course setting principles and monitor the application of these principles in High Level Events
