National map commissions can request the original ISOM2017-2 InDesign files for translations (contact the IOF Office [email protected]). Please report all errors to the IOF Office or to the IOF Map Commission.

Please note that OCD files of Ski-O map symbols 2019 document are absolutely inappropriate for new mapping projects. This document is guide for users to understand different scales and symbol sizes used in Ski-O. For this reason it mixes different symbol sizes in legend and colours in colour table.

Map printing


Test sheet for assessing print quality for orienteering maps

The IOF Map Commission has created 2 test sheets for evaluating print quality. One has been printed using CMYK+B colour offset printing, the other using high quality colour laser printing. The IOF has provided all member federations with copies of the test sheets for free, and your national federation should be contacted to obtain copies of the 2 sheets (see contact details here).

With use of the test sheets it is possible to examine print quality using the following files:
