FISU and the organisers of the 2021 Winter Universiade in Lucerne Switzerland have decided to postpone the games:
“FISU, together with the Organising Committee and Swiss University Sports, have unanimously agreed that the 30th Winter Universiade cannot be organised from 21 to 31 January 2021. It has been agreed to evaluate the possibility of postponement of the event to a later period, that will be discussed within the next two months among the different parties, including the international winter sports federations.”
