IOF acquires international broadcast rights for Venla and Jukola relays

The legendary Venla and Jukola relays in Finland can be followed at IOF TV with English and Swedish commentary for the international audience in 2023.

IOF has acquired the international rights for the relays that are taking place in the weekend June 17-18 in Porvoo just east of Helsinki.

The 4-leg Venla Relay kicks off at 14.00 local time (UTC+3) and nine hours later the first of seven legs in Jukola start out in the night.

More than 3000 teams in total registered for last year’s relays, where IFK Göteborg (SWE) took the Venla title and Stora Tuna OK continued their winning streak by winning the Jukola for third year in a row.

IOF TV’s experienced commentators Katherine Bett and Jonas Merz will guide the viewers through the relays on the English stream, and speaker legend Per Forsberg will be the voice of the Swedish stream. During the night, Josefine Heikka will join as the expert commentator. Purchase your ticket to the stream here: IOF TV – Jukola/Venla Broadcast
