Simona Aebersold (SUI) is among 23 athletes nominated for the title “The World Games Athlete of the Year 2022” after her impressive performances in Alabama, USA in July.
The 24-year-old Swiss won both the sprint and the middle distance before also taking the sprint relay gold in the streets of Birmingham, AL with the Swiss team.
Those achievements bring her into the fine company of nominees for the Athlete of the year 2022 award.
