The most prestigious international competition within orienteering kicks off Friday morning in Edinburgh, when the World Orienteering Championships 2024 begin.
And there are excellent opportunities to follow the three sprint competitions Friday, Sunday and Tuesday up close, regardless of whether you are present at the arenas in the Scottish capital or follow from home.
In Edinburgh

The national television stations in Sweden (SVT), Norway (NRK), Finland (YLE), Czechia (CzTV) and Austria (ORF) have acquired the TV rights. Find the local broadcast times for your country on the relevant media outlet’s homepage.
UK, France, Germany, Ireland, Belgium, Austria
IOF’s partnership with the European Broadcasting Union means that the competitions can be watched for free on the streaming platform Eurovision Sport in the United Kingdom, Ireland, France, Belgium, Germany and Austria (KO Sprint on ORF) with English, French and German commentary.
Rest of the world
The rest of the world is able to follow all races on IOF TV, where there is also commentary in the three languages mentioned above. Tickets are 9/25 EUR for one all races.
