The international sprint orienteering season continues this weekend with the Pomorze Sprint Cup Gold WRE in northern Poland, where a strong field is set to compete across three urban sprint races from Friday to Sunday.
Fans will be able to follow the action over the coming days through live streaming and live results.
Several athletes from the Top 10’s in the current Orienteering World Cup standings will be racing in Poland: Belgian sprint specialist Yannick Michiels and the Czech national team runners Tomáš Krivda and Tereza Rauturier.
The Pomorze Sprint Cup has become a popular stop on the European sprint calendar, combining fast and technical urban terrain with strong elite participation. The races in Poland will offer valuable preparation opportunities ahead of a busy international summer season – with the Orienteering World Cup Round 2 in Sweden taking place already next week.
