ESOC Sprint Relay cancelled due to heavy wind – postponed to Tuesday

Due to very strong wind and a blizzard in the competition area of Chepelare, it has been decided to cancel Sundays sprint relay at the European Ski Orienteering Championships in Bulgaria.

The competition should have started at 10 a.m. local time (UTC+2), and later Sunday organizers will take a decision if it is possible to start the competition sometime later.

The organizers are planning to arrange the ESOC Sprint Relay and the WMSOC Sprint on Tuesday.

The first start of tomorrows Middle Distance will be at 11 a.m. Monday instead of 10 a.m. local time (UTC+2).
