Be a part of shaping a new communication strategy for International Orienteering

IOF has started working on updating its communications strategy and is now searching for a professional resource to lead a working group under the IOF Council.

The aim of the strategy work is, through the first quarter of 2025, to come up with an easily decipherable and action-oriented communication strategy for the coming years that can be used throughout IOF’s organisation: From the members of the IOF’s Council and Commissions to the employees in IOF Office to the organisers of IOF’s major events.

IOF is well on its way to meeting the goals set in the Strategic Directions for the period 2024 – 2026 and wants a communication strategy that reflects that work to a greater extent.

Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a professional to lead the strategy development process, with ideas and abilities to create structure around how our communication can fulfill eg. our mission of “We promote the global growth of orienteering and develop competitive and recreational orienteering” in the best possible way.

The IOF has allocated funding for adequate remuneration.

We imagine that you may have worked on creating a communication strategy in an organisation in the past and/or have practical experience of communicating strategically – maybe even within orienteering?

If you want to contribute to creating IOF’s communication in the coming years, please write an e-mail to IOF Secretary General Sondre Gullord
