The 2024 Orienteering World Cup kicks off in Olten, Switzerland in the end of May.

Olten is known as the railway central of Switzerland, as the railway tracks north-south and east-west are crossing in Olten. That means that the cosy city with about 16’000 inhabitants has perfect connections in all directions.

The town is situated in the Mittelland and is divided by the river Aare.  Its well-maintained old town as well as industrial and new builded parts make Olten a very interesting and challenging orienteering town.

Fast decisions may be the winning concept for the two sprint events: a Knock-out sprint on Saturday, and a Sprint on Sunday.

Be ready for a great atmosphere and cheering spectators as always in Switzerland.
