Only the best team from each federation are counted for team world cup. The sum of all 4 races are counted, en each race 15 teams are given points from 20 down to 1.

There is one class for Women U23 and one for Men U23. Women and men belong to the Women U23 and Men U23 classes respectively up to the end of the calendar year in which they have their 23rd birthday. All competitors entered in Women or Men and who are aged 23 or younger will automatically be ranked in Woman U23 or Man U23. To qualify for the Women U23 or Men U23 class, competitors must be in that class in the year of the competition, defined as the calendar year in which the World Cup ends.

U23 World Ski Orienteering Championships

Season 2021/2022 is the first season for the new championship U23 WSOC. 2 Competitions from the Ski Orienteering World Cup will be chosen as the U23 WSOC competitions. This season it is the ESOC Sprint and Long competitions. The best U23 athletes from these two competitions will be medal awarded U23 Champions.

Welcome to Bulgaria!

Chepelare, situated in the Rhodope Mountains, will host the European Championships and the first World Cup Round. The event will also be the first championship where the U23 World Ski Orienteering Champions will be celebrated.
