The World Games
Welcome to Chengdu, China!
On 7 August 2025, the 12th edition of The World Games will open in Chengdu. 5000 athletes from 34 sports and over 100 countries will enter the The World Games in Chengdu. The IOF has together with IWGA and local organisers worked extensively on providing well-organised, exciting and fair competitions, 30 km south east of Chengdu city center.
80 athletes from 24 Federations will participate in the Games, assisted by 32 Team coaches. This is the 7th Games that Orienteering is represented in The World Games.
