The Junior World Chamiponships (JWOC) is the annual event where we award the titles of Junior World Champions in Orienteering. The event have 5 medal awarded competitions and is organised in accordance with the following principles:
• The best junior orienteers of each Federation must be offered competitions of high technical quality
• The event must have a social, rather than a competitive atmosphere, accentuating exchange of experience.
Classes and age groups
There is one class for women and one for men (Women 20 and Men 20). All competitors are 20 years old or younger. Everyone that is becoming 20 years old during 2026 can participate.
JWOC 2026 is staged in Sweden with the local event time zone CEST (UTC+2)
