The World Ski Orienteering Championships 2021 Estonian organising team is working at full speed. More than 100 km of ski tracks have been cleaned and course planning is ongoing.
The event is scheduled for February 24-28 and the organiser has made several changes to be able to organise the event in the special circumstances due to the pandemic. The organisers are working closely with the Estonian Health Board to ensure that all competitors, organisers and spectators remain healthy. The organiser has published Covid-19 information for competitors, it is found here.
The organiser is planning for a live tv broadcast, here is a photo from a tv meeting held recently with Per Frost and Event Director Raul Kudre:
Despite the difficult situation, all organisers are very positive and believe that they will organise an excellent competition. Bulletin 3 will be published in December.
