The World Cup consortium is contracted until 2024.
The World Cup will have about 3-4 rounds per year, with 2-4 competitions per round. The World Cup will keep consisting of the Championships formats; Long Distance, Middle Distance, Relay, Sprint, Knock-out Sprint, Sprint Relay.
The idea is that one round per year usually takes place in Switzerland. One round is commonly placed in one of the Nordic countries.
