World Masters Ski Orienteering Championships will be a part of the Winter World Masters Games in Lombardia, Italy in January 2024.
Thereby the ski orienteering masters athletes will take part in the WWMG, which include 15 different sports and expect to host more than 3000 participants over the course of 10 days.
WMSOC 2024 will consist of three disciplines: Middle, Sprint and Long from January 13 – 17 and welcomes athletes over 30 years of age divided in age groups of five years.
The venue for the SkiO races is Palù Lake – Chiesa in Valmalenco in the Sondrio region in the eastern Alps.
The games in Italy will be the fourth ever Winter World Masters Games, which are considered as the biggest winter multi-sport event for Masters athletes.
WWMG are governed by The International Masters Games Association (IMGA), which also organizes World Masters Games as well as the European, Pan-American and Asia Pacific Masters Games.
