From 5-7 November, the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) will welcome more than 1,500 representatives from the clean sport community to Katowice, Poland, for its fifth World Conference on Doping in Sport, which coincides with the 20th anniversary of the Agency’s formation.
The Conference program will focus on finalizing and approving the 2021 World Anti-Doping Code and a number of International Standards, that were subject of a two-year review process, and which will be presented for discussion by stakeholders during the Conference. The IOF will be represented at the conference by President Leho Haldna, Anti-doping Officer Kirsty McIntyre and Athletes Representative Jan Petrzela.
With focus on Anti-doping this week it seems like a good time to remind the orienteering community about the recently released update to the List of Prohibited Substances and Methods
