The IOF relaunches official website at orienteering.sport

The International Orienteering Federation is pleased to announce the re-launch of its official website and at the same time the rebranding of the site within the global .sport initiative. The address of the new site is orienteering.sport.

The remade website provides a user-friendly environment for anyone interested in orienteering sports. With a simplified navigation the new site also features a layout responsive to any device including mobile, tablet and desktop computers.

– Simplifying navigation and adding responsiveness to enhance the user experience across all devices, have been our priorities when developing the new site, says IOF Communications Officer Malin Fuhr.
– And it is great that the launch of the new site coincides with us entering the .sport initiative.

The IOF also introduces the new platform for LIVE Orienteering in the same environment. Having both the website and live services under the same umbrella ensures a consistent user experience.

– Simplifying the user experience for following orienteering events live has also been key in the integration of LIVE Orienteering into the overall web concept, says IOF Sports Administrator David Wästlund.

The site is developed in partnership with web designers at Stuart.

The new top domain .sport is available for recognised and legitimate bodies, ranging from sports governing bodies to events, clubs and the companies which supply the goods and services on which sport relies. .sport is owned by GAISF, the Global Association of International Sports Federations.
