When the world’s best mountainbike orienteers head to Portugal in end-April, they will be able to race four times at the CX80 European Mountain Bike Orienteering Championships.
During its latest meeting, IOF Council approved a proposal from the MTBO Commission to add a sprint race to the existing program, that contains a middle distance, a mass start and a mixed relay.
In advance, a survey to the Member Federations had indicated an overall support for the proposal.
The EMTBOC races will count in the CX80 MTBO World Cup as well.
