JWOC Long: gold for Aebersold and Fosser

Simona Aebersold, Switzerland and Kasper Fosser, Norway won Long distance at the Junior World Orienteering Championships 2018 in Kecskemét, Hungary.

It was a clean win for both leaders. Aebersold finished more than 5 minutes ahead of the Hungarian Zsofia Sarkozy and 5 min. 56 sec. of Tereza Janosikova, Czech Republic.

Kasper Fosser was faster by more than 4 minutes than his nearest rival Mathieu Peerin, France. The Czech Daniel Vandas took bronze, finished 5 min. 37 sec. behind the winner.
