Orienteering is growing! We are growing geographically but also in media attention. This year, the WOC went live through a record number of TV stations and the IOF live service introduces commenting in two more languages. The viewership figures keep increasing and new records were hit more than once during the season. It is looking good for orienteering!
We are proud of our existing partners and we are happy to help them grow within the orienteering society. Yet, we have room for additional partners and particularly title partners, giving the rights to name larger events. The visibility is high, the orienteering values are appealing and the core audience is attractive as consumers but also for potential employment.
To support the development towards even more attractive partner offers, a high-level advising team has been formed. Headed by the IOF Council member Hannu Kottonen, a group of devoted orienteers, but also business leaders, are supporting the development. The group is bringing valuable experience and contact networks to the orienteering society. The group is called IOF Partnership Team.
