It is with great sadness that the International Orienteering Federation learned of the death of Swiss national team athlete Pascal Buchs, who died tragically in an accident at the age of 27 on Friday.
Pascal Buchs was a part of Swiss Orienteering’s elite division since 2018 and regularly competed in World Cup races for the national team, as well as participating in JWOC 2017 in his junior years.
