The 30th Ordinary General Assembly of the IOF was planned to be held in connection with the World Orienteering Championships in Denmark this year. Now that the WOC has been cancelled new plans have been made for conducting a virtual General Assembly. The General Assembly is planned to be held on Friday July 10th, with a pre-General Assembly seminar to be held 2 days earlier.
The IOF has now sent out the documents for the General Assembly to all member federations and published them here on orienteering.sport. They can be found on the General Assembly 2020 page.
The General Assembly documents consist of a General Assembly binder with the agenda and all governance documents like financial reports for 2018 and 2019, auditors reports, the report of the IOF Ethics Panel, membership items, Council and member proposals and nominations for the elections of Council. The Biennial Report for the IOF for the period since the last General Assembly in 2018 is published as a separate document.
In a few weeks more practical information will be made available about the conduct of the virtual General Assembly.
