The IOF SkiO Commission have made a Guideline for fluor cleaning. The document describes the recommended process to “clean” used equipment from fluorinated substances and reduce contamination down to a level where no competitive advantage is present. It can be found here.
The IOF Ski Orienteering Commission invites you to IOF Event Advisers Clinic 2023. This year the clinic will be a combination of online lectures and physical meetings at an event. The physical meetings will be organized during the Word Cup round 3 and World Masters at Beitostølen in Norway 9th-12th February 2023. It will be possible to combine the clinic with participating in World Masters or World Cup.
The main objective for the clinic is to prepare participants to be licensed Ski Orienteering Event Advicers. The clinic is also open for experienced organizers who want to play major roles in organising future high level IOF events (WSOC, World Cup, WMSOC, EYSOC, etc.) but do not necessarily want to become an Event Adviser.
Course leader will be Bernd Kohlschmidt (GER), IOF Ski Orienteering Commission. Entry deadline is the 30th of December, 2022.
