There will a free ‘very limited’ Web-TV from the qualification with arena speaker sound and a finish camera. Follow trough live results and live GPS. The Middle Qualification is a qualification race where all athletes are divided in 3 parallel heats. Estimated winning time is 25 minutes. The 15 best athletes in each heat qualify for the final (45 athletes) and the remaining 15 spots are given to Federations with no top 15 athletes.

Simona Aebersold in Women 2 passed Intermediate 2,9 km with a time of 22:18 minutes.
Topi Syrjalainen has the lead in mens heat 1 with a time of 26.42 minutes.
