2024 FISU World University SkiO Championships begin Friday

The international ski orienteering season kicks off on Friday, when the 2024 FISU World University Ski Orienteering Championships begins in Lenzerheide, Switzerland.

More than 75 athletes from 14 different nations have registered to start in the four races in eastern Switzerland.

The first race is a sprint and it is follow by a pursuit race, a middle distance and a sprint relay – all of them taking place in the competition area between 1350 and 1500 meters above sea level with steep climbs and decents reported.

Athletes participating in the 2024 FISU WUSOC must be born between 1999 and 2006 and be enregistered with a university or similar.

The first start in Friday’s sprint is at 10.00 (UTC +1) and all races can be followed through WUSOC’s Live Center with GPS-tracking and live results here.
